  • Inter School Volley Ball Tournament at Raffles University, Neemrana – 7th December, 2016

    Alabbar School of Management, Raffles University, Neemrana organized an Inter School Volley Ball Tournament for school students from 2-3rd December, 2016. The honorable Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof V. K Kapoor inaugurated the event by encouraging all the team to play their best and uphold sportsmanship.

    The event was a huge success as it saw enthusiastic participation of students from eight schools from Alwar district. Four knockout match and semi-final matches were played on day one. On day two final match was played between Marigold Team and Raath International Team. The winner of the tournament was Raath International School team.

  • For a good debate, ask lawyers to participate - November 3, 2015

    In a move to develop the understanding of environmental concerns amongst the scholars, the Eco-Friendly Club of School of Law, Raffles University organized a debate competition. The exemplary quality motion of the debate was "The educational institution can only bring action oriented reforms in creating the healthy environment".

    The competition was a huge success as the large numbers of participants presented their views for and against the motion and displayed a huge concern over the global environmental issues.

    Results-

    Tanmay Purohit (1st Semester) emerged as the winner of the competition by securing the first position. The Second Position was secured by Vidhisha Rathore (1st Semester) followed by Shweta Rathore (7th Semester) on the third slot.

  • Intra Moot Court Competition, 2015

    "Only those students who participate and score good in the competition will be allowed to represent the University in upcoming National and International Competitions which will be held from October, 2015 to June, 2016. The Competition in which the participant will be allowed to go, will be determined by the ranking which the participant achieves in the Intra Competition."

  • Best Adjudicator at Goenka Parliamentary Debate Competition, 2015

    A scholar of School of Law, David Mahla, was adjudged as the best adjudicator at the PITCH Parliamentary debate competition organized by G.D. Goenka University, Gurgaon on March 13-14, 2015.

    The winner competed amongst the 16 teams to win the title and returned back with the flying colors.

    The winner was awarded with a LexisNexis online subscription for an year, a set of four LexisNexis books and a cash prize of Rs. 2000.

  • Winners of Siddharth Law College Moot Court Competition, 2015

    We have put our reputation on the line again. It’s back to back titles for Raffles University. This time it was a team of three debutantes. The team comprising of David Mahla (1st Speaker), Bhawana Khanwani (2nd Speaker) and Manishi Chouhan (Researcher) went on to become the champions of national moot court competition organized by Siddhrath Law College, Vijaywada held on February 27-March 15, 2015. These champs competed amongst the 16 Law Schools of the country including the NLUs and faced a tough final round against NUSRL, Ranchi to bring back the title of champions at home.

    The team was awarded with a rolling trophy, winners’ certificates and a cash prize of Rs. 12000/-. Raffles family congratulate the champion team for their marvelous performance and wish them all the very best for the future competitions.

  • Raffles University Making Its Mark In Mooting Premier League, 2015

    As a remarkable semester swiftly expands its horizons, the scholars of School of Law are back with the tremendous performance. This is for the first time a private law school of Rajasthan has entered into the Mooting Premier League (MPL) organized by Legally India.

    A fascinating performance at 5th Justice R.K. Tankha National Moot Court Competition organized by National Law Institute University has made all the difference. Whenever a duo of Vivek Chhipa and Jubair Bhati walks out to perform in the moot court competitions, there are always extremely high expectations back in the law school. This time the campaign was hit by the duo along with the debutante Heemanshi Sen.

    As in a routine fashion, Vivek Chhipa turned on the heat while leading the team by receiving the Best Researcher Award competing against the top 30 Law schools of the country with likes of National Law Universities as well.

    To add on, Jubair Bhati, the first speaker of the team was adjudged as the second best speaker of the competition. This is not all. The memorial of the team was also adjudged as the second best memorial of the competition.

    To recapitulate, this is just the beginning and not the finale.

  • Win Championships of SGT university National Moot Court Competition, 2015

    PLAYERS WIN GAMES, TEAMS WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS
    CHAMPIONS OF SGT UNIVERSITY NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2015

    Preparations for national moot court competitions are always tough but we plan on winning. Winning isn’t everything, it’s the only thing. This certainly fits into the context of the national moot court competition teams of Raffles University. When the Rafflians walks out for the moot court competitions, winning is the only option before them and this time it didn’t rain but poured.

    A team comprising of Ruchi Sareen (1st Speaker), Nishtha Acharya (Second Speaker) and Hardik Mishra (Researcher) crossed the victory lane to finish off the competition in style. The champion team competed amongst the top 32 law schools including NLUs of the country in the National Moot Court Competition 2015 organized by SGT University, Gurgaon on March 13-16, 2015. These champions of Raffles University stood a class apart in the competition and went on to win the breath taking finals by having an edge over the GGSIPU.

    This didn’t satisfy our champions and the team also went on win the second best memorial award of the competition. The champions were awarded with a huge glittering trophy, winning certificates and 3 days stay at a five star hotel of New Delhi.

    The competition was meant for undergraduate law students interested in academic legal writing.

    The competition aimed to cater to a large number of law students and Jitesh Maheshwari stood Second amongst 403 contributions & is also rewarded with Rs 15,000 cash prize."

  • Semifinalist of LAW Center-I XII All Delhi (NCR) MOOT COURT Competition - 2014

    Just when we thought that the frenzy of thumping victory of the moot court competition at Indore was over, interesting and inspiring news is here again. We have put our reputation on the line yet again.

    Eyeing a bigger slice of the pie, scholars of School of Law secured the Semifinals berth in Law Center-I XII All Delhi (NCR) Moot Court Competition, 2014, which was organized by Delhi University (DU) on November 15, 2014.

    The team comprised of Jitesh Maheshwari as the 1st Speaker, Divya Kathuriya as the 2nd Speaker and Manphool Bhadu as the Researcher.

    The team was awarded with the Semifinalists’ certificates.

  • Quarter-finalists of 3rd Indraprastha national MOOT COURT Competition-2014, Delhi

    After the Raffles University’s solo charge and an inspiring victory at Lex Bonanza Moot Court Competition, a yet another team of Rafflians attempted to carve through the channels of the Moot Court Competition at Delhi.

    In such process, Scholars of School of Law secured the Quarterfinals berth in 3rd Indraprastha National Moot Court Competition-2014 which was organized by University School of Law and Legal Studies, Indraprastha University, Delhi on October 10-12, 2014.

    The memorial of the team was adjudged as the 2nd best memorial of the competition [TC 32].

    The team comprised of Jubair Bhati as the 1st Speaker [4th Position], Anjali Soni as the 2nd Speaker [6th Position] and Harsh Pratap Singh as the Researcher.

    The team was awarded with life-time Lexis-Nexis online subscription along with the Quarter-finalists’ certificates.

  • Winners of "LEX-BONANZA" MOOT COURT Competition-2014, Indore

    "WE PLAY TO WIN, WHETHER DURING A PRACTICE OR REAL GAME. AND WE WILL NOT LET ANYTHING GET IN THE WAY OF US AND OUR COMPETITIVE ENTHUSIASM TO WIN."

    To add yet another feather in our cap, Scholars of School of Law won the "LEX-BONANZA Moot Court Competition-2014" organized by Indore Institute of Law, Indore on September 29, 2014.

    The team comprised of Jitesh Maheshwari as the 1st Speaker, Mumal Rathore as the 2nd Speaker and Vivek Chhipa as the Researcher. However, this was not enough to satisfy our thirst for the winning and eventually, speaker “Jitesh Maheshwari” made it to the award for the “Best Speaker of the Competition”.

    The team was awarded with Rs. 7000/- cash along with the trophies and certificates.

  • Intra College Debate

    An Intra-College Debate was organized by the Literary Club of School of Law on 27th August 2014 on the topic- "Politics of Coalition in India: Is it a Mark of Degeneration of Democracy?" The 1st, 2ndand 3rd year students participated in the debate enthusiastically. Anant Koolwal and Manphool Bhadu from 3rd year stood at the First position “For and Against the Motion.” Vishal Kadiyon from 1st year was the Runner-up. The competition was thought provoking & interactive.

  • Overwhelming welcome to freshers batch of 2014-19

    An entertaining cultural evening was organized for the fresher (Batch-2014-2019) of School of Law, followed by a DJ party. All the students of 2nd, 3rd and 4th year participated at the event with great enthusiasm. The event began with the introduction of the freshers to their seniors and also seniors introduced themselves to their new in mates. Students performed a musical drama based on college life . in late evening a DJ Night was arranged by seniors to mark the day of their in-mates under the umbrella of joy. At the end of the party different pageants were given to the Freshers. Mr. and Ms. Fresher was Sandeep Malik and Shretima Bagri and Mr. and Ms. Stylish were Kulwardhan Bhati and Isha Sondhi. The event was a great success. The students as well as the Faculty enjoyed with full frolic and joy.

    Raffles University School of Law’s team secured 25th position in the 3rd National Moot Court Competition organized by RGNUL Patiala from 28th March 2014 to 30 March 2014.A total of 72 teams participated in the competition from all over India. The moot court team comprised of three members, Mayank Mittal (Sem 6th) as a researcher, Abhigya Ohri and Amishi Agarwal as speakers (Sem 2nd).
