About TPC

The Training and Placement Cell (TPC) of Raffles University acts as a crucial bridge between the students and the corporate world. Committed to enhancing the employability and professional readiness of students, the cell works proactively to connect students with prospective employers across various industries. It operates under the guidance of senior faculty members and industry experts, facilitating a comprehensive placement process that includes training, internship opportunities, and final job placements. The TPC ensures that students are well-prepared through continuous grooming, aptitude-building sessions, soft skill workshops, and mock interviews — equipping them with the confidence and competence to succeed in today’s competitive job market.

Objectives

The objectives of the cell are:

• 1.To enhance the employability of students by imparting industry-relevant training and soft skills development programs.
• 2.To establish strong industry-academia linkages by inviting companies for campus recruitment and encouraging industrial visits, internships, and projects.
• 3.To facilitate internships and final placements by organizing campus drives, job fairs, and on-campus/off-campus placement activities.
• 4.To prepare students for corporate challenges through workshops on resume writing, communication skills, personality development, group discussions, and interview techniques.
• 5.To maintain continuous interaction with the industry to understand current trends, skills in demand, and emerging opportunities across sectors.
• 6.To ensure transparency and discipline in the entire placement process, fostering a professional culture of accountability and ethics.
• 7.To assist students in career planning by offering career guidance, counselling, and support in identifying suitable career paths aligned with their strengths and interests.
• 8.To monitor student progress and performance and tailor training modules accordingly to meet placement objectives effectively.
